Rust CLI release. The npm packages (ai-hist sdk-ts, ai-hist-mcp, ai-hist-native) are unchanged by this release — the changes are entirely in crates/ai-hist, so binaries are what matter here.
Added
ai-hist coverage— shows which machines are pushing history and how recently, without ssh'ing to each one. Client ofGET /v1/machines(AgentWorkforce/relayhistory-cloud#19, deployed).
Fixed
- Real hostname resolution. The CLI read
$HOSTNAME, which launchd does not export, and otherwise fell back to the literal stringunknown-host. Every machine pushing from its launchd service therefore reported a null hostname, and the server's upsert wrote that over any good value — so the whole fleet appeared as anonymous rows. Now resolved via thehostnamecrate with$HOSTNAMEretained as an explicit override.
Why this release matters
A machine that silently stops reporting was previously invisible: finn-mini was mute from 2026-08-03 until 2026-08-05 and nobody noticed, and reconstructing its agent sessions required an ssh session to that specific machine. Verified against production immediately after deploy:
Fleet coverage — 4 machine(s): 3 active, 0 stale, 1 missing
⚠️ Khaliqs-MBP.home has not pushed in 41d (last seen 2026-06-26T09:57:28.985Z)
Requires relayhistory-cloud with the /v1/machines endpoint deployed.
Note on versioning
The tag series sdk-ts-vX.Y.Z has historically tracked the sdk-ts package version, which remains at 0.4.1 since this release does not touch it. This tag exists to attach CLI binaries; the naming drift between tag and sdk-ts package version is deliberate here and worth reconciling in the release convention.
