Claude Ads v2.0.2

This update improves installation guidance, report safety, platform evidence, and release validation.

  • Adds Google Search/DSA overlap and duplicate-keyword checks based on account routing evidence.
  • Makes Meta planning and creative workflows distinguish account, Pixel, and conversion cold starts.
  • Corrects Microsoft native-export conversion mapping to ConversionsQualified.
  • Escapes untrusted PDF report text and captions.
  • Stops failed landing-page analyses from producing misleading grades.
  • Validates generated image output before treating it as a successful artifact.
  • Improves legacy-install preflight and cross-installer ownership handling.
  • Refreshes platform evidence and hardens dependency and release checks, including importer-module and callable-alias regressions.

Community acknowledgments

Thank you to the people whose reports and proposals informed this update. Some fixes were independently implemented or superseded, so these acknowledgments do not imply that each submitted patch was merged.

Verification and scope

Source commit: e38b53059829aef092f186dd2c9803615e18f25f.

  • Local tests: 645 passed, 25 platform-specific tests skipped on Linux.
  • Public GitHub CI and CodeQL passed on this commit.
  • Two clean-commit package builds were verified and byte-identical.
  • Dependency audit passed with 17 documented, expiring not_affected exceptions and no unhandled advisories.
  • External signed model evaluation, signed release reviews, and the strict private-branch release run are not represented as completed by this release. Publication follows the owner's explicit instruction; the combined repository release gate is not claimed as passed.

The Python core retains its independent 2.0.0 version. Existing capability restrictions remain in force; this update does not enable disabled live integrations or health-scoring profiles. Dependency exceptions remain subject to their documented scope and expiry.
