Changes in this minor release:

  • Changed the state of ConnectivityManager (Android) to enable access to mobile data while connected to the network of the robot.
  • Added Internet access checks (Alerts, currently for development purposes, to be removed in next release)
  • Ensured Android not getting stuck to offline mode due to the ConnectivityManager

This is a new minor release, because of the possibilities, opened by the dual access to both WiFi and Mobile Data. It allows for easier integration with the backend server (not using the planned before offline sync method). Consequently, the development and support of 433MHz antennas is currently halted, until release 1.0. Adding functionalities to the already existing features and integrating them with the backend server is currently being prioritized.

Gradual backend integration to be expected in the following releases.
