Desktop App

The desktop app bundles the OCO CLI sidecar and seeds ~/.config/oco/ with shipped config, prompts, and skills on first launch. Existing user files are never overwritten.

Migrating From Vanilla OpenCode

If you previously used vanilla opencode (not OCO), your chat history and session data live in ~/.local/share/opencode/. OCO uses ~/.local/share/oco/ instead, so your old sessions will not appear automatically.

To preserve everything (chat history, compression history, tool outputs), run this before launching OCO for the first time:

mkdir -p ~/.local/share/oco
rsync -a ~/.local/share/opencode/ ~/.local/share/oco/

This copies (not moves) the entire data directory. Your old opencode install is untouched.

Build From Source (Linux)

If you prefer to build locally instead of using the .deb, it takes ~5-10 minutes on a native x86_64 Linux machine:
