This project now includes AI-powered elephant detection for wildlife sighting reports:
- Real-time Analysis: When users upload images for elephant sightings, the system automatically analyzes them using a trained TensorFlow model
- Confidence Scoring: Each detection includes a confidence percentage to help validate reports
- Smart Alerts: Alert messages include AI verification status and confidence scores
- Fallback System: If the AI service is unavailable, the system gracefully falls back to manual reporting
- Install Python dependencies:
pip install -r requirements.txt- Ensure the trained model
elephant_detector.h5is in the project root - The detection API will automatically use the model for analysis
