Cockroach Crawler 0.7.0-rc.1
Pre-releaseCockroach Crawler 0.7.0-rc.1 is the published npm next prerelease for opt-in evaluation. It does not move npm latest, which is 0.6.2.
Published quality benchmark
The prerelease contains a source-pinned WCEB v1.0 observed-development result for the Node quality balanced path:
| Pages | Precision | Recall | Macro F1 | Required-snippet recall | Unwanted inclusion |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 511 | 0.894101 | 0.926022 | 0.890524 | 0.864090 | 0.111383 |
WCEB calls this partition test, but the project previously inspected it and iterated against its failures. It is therefore observed-development evidence, not untouched held-out confirmation. The values are published exactly; they are not rounded into a universal 0.90 claim or a best-crawler ranking.
The quality path delegates main-content extraction to exact native trafilatura@0.2.0, then applies Cockroach Crawler's input validation, named profiles, diagnostics, fail-closed option, and evidence contract. It is a product composition, not an independent Trafilatura implementation.

Evidence boundary
Cached-HTML main-content extraction is not a measurement of public-network capacity, browser automation coverage, OCR quality, production throughput, or universal extraction quality.
