What's new

Click any day, anywhere. A bar in the Week view, a square in the Month calendar, a dot in the Year graph — all three now open the same small editor for that one date. Write the list, save, and that morning it's what appears.

Your routine is already in the box. Open a day you haven't planned and today's routine is sitting there, so you edit the difference rather than typing the whole list again. Change nothing and nothing changes.

Days you skip still work exactly as before. A day with no plan falls back to your daily routine. Planning is something you can do, not something you have to keep up with — and a planned day is marked with a small terracotta ring so you can see at a glance which ones are already written.

Ticks survive an edit. Reorder today's list, add a line, drop one — anything you leave alone keeps its tick.

Nothing else moved. Same two moments, same data file, same behaviour.

Upgrading

Run the installer over the top of your existing copy. Your history, your routine and your settings are all kept — the data file updates itself on first launch, and older versions' data is read as-is.

Days you plan ahead are stored separately from days that actually happened, so they never touch your streak, your completion rate or the contribution graph. A plan only becomes a real day when that morning arrives.

Windows will show "Windows protected your PC" because this build isn't code-signed yet — a certificate costs more per year than this free app earns, which is nothing. Choose More info → Run anyway, or read the source first and build it yourself.

Adds a morning time, so the checklist waits for your chosen hour instead of appearing the moment the PC boots.

What's New

Not before a set time. Open Settings, switch on Not before a set time, and pick your hour — 08:00, say. Boot at 06:30 and nothing appears: the app waits quietly in the notification area and opens once at 08:00.

Leave the setting off and nothing changes from 1.0.0 — the checklist appears on any launch, whatever the hour.

It still opens once a day. Answer it — press the button, or just close the window — and it stays shut, however many times you restart the machine.

Also in this release:

• The installer is now named DailyStart-Setup-1.0.1.exe, without spaces in the filename
• Copyright and licence headers added across the source files

• The checklist rebuilds every morning from your own routine list

Answering it is one click: Start My Day, or just close the window. Either way, it won't pop up again until tomorrow.
