Omalogi now uses English throughout the native desktop panel, action menus, accessibility labels, CLI, setup and error messages.

This beta supports the Logitech MX Master 3S via Bolt on Omarchy. It includes a Linux x86_64 executable and SHA256 checksum. Bluetooth and other models remain unvalidated.

Install the plugin and run its setup script as described in the README. The setup script installs Solaar if missing, verifies the release download and enables the widget. Changes apply automatically when you edit the panel.

Validation: 7 Rust contract tests, 28 Python tests, native QML regression, Omarchy plugin validation, Clippy and GitHub release checks passed. Preview images use simulated device data.

First public beta of Omalogi: Logitech mouse controls integrated into the Omarchy desktop.

  • Configure DPI, the gesture button and four directions, side buttons, vertical/horizontal wheels, ratchet and SmartShift where supported.
  • Native Omarchy bar widget and popup with automatic application and queued edits.
  • Verified device writes, preservation of unrelated Solaar rules, rollback and restoration of the original settings.
  • Migration from the local MVP, plus installation/update/removal scripts.

Validated combination: MX Master 3S via Bolt, Omarchy 4.0.4, Quickshell 0.3.1, Hyprland 0.56.2 and Solaar 1.1.20. The panel is initially in Spanish. Other devices, Bluetooth and other software versions are not yet validated.

Install

omarchy plugin add https://github.com/AlejandroFloresArroyo/omalogi.git
bash "$HOME/.config/omarchy/plugins/omalogi.mouse/scripts/install.sh"

The setup script installs Solaar if missing, downloads the Linux x86_64 binary, verifies its SHA256 checksum, and configures the user service. A prebuilt installation does not require Rust.

The attached .tar.gz contains the x86_64 Linux musl binary and MIT license; .sha256 contains its checksum.

Validation

GitHub Actions runs the Rust contracts, formatting/Clippy checks, Python transaction/installation tests and distribution checks before packaging. The downloaded release binary is additionally checked locally before publication.

A real new graphical-session startup and installation on a second clean Omarchy machine remain pending. Hardware checks on the original development machine and the post-migration status are documented in VALIDATION.md.

See the README for setup, compatibility, updates and restoration before uninstalling.
