Release Notes for Battleship Game (Version 1.0)

Introduction:
The Battleship Game (Version 1.0) is an exciting and strategic naval warfare game developed using JavaFX. In this release, we have implemented a classic battleship game where players engage in naval combat against an intelligent bot opponent. Additionally, we have integrated a MySQL database to store and manage game results, allowing players to track their progress and compete with others.

Features:

  1. Player vs. Bot Gameplay:

    • In this version of the game, players can compete against a computer-controlled bot. The bot is equipped with intelligent algorithms to provide a challenging and engaging gaming experience.

  2. User-Friendly Interface:

    • We've designed an intuitive and visually appealing user interface to enhance the overall gaming experience. Players can easily place their ships on the grid, make strategic moves, and track their opponent's progress.

  3. Ship Placement:

    • Players can strategically place their fleet of ships on the grid before the game begins. The goal is to position them strategically to outmaneuver and outgun the bot opponent.

  4. Turn-Based Gameplay:

    • The game follows a turn-based system, where players take turns to fire missiles at their opponent's grid. Each player has limited missiles, and the first one to sink all of the opponent's ships wins the game.

  5. Customizable Gameplay:

    • Players have the option to customize various game settings, such as grid size, number of ships, and difficulty level, to tailor the game to their preferences.

Technical Details:

  1. JavaFX:

    • The game is developed using JavaFX, a modern Java framework for building rich desktop applications with a focus on graphical user interfaces.

  2. MySQL Database Integration:

    • The game connects to a MySQL database to store and retrieve game results and player statistics. This integration is achieved using JDBC (Java Database Connectivity).

  3. Artificial Intelligence (AI):

Known Issues:
