Fritz 0.2.0 brings the German course to macOS 14 or later.
- Vocabulary, grammar, listening, reading and conversations across A1–C1.
- Czech and English instructions, short lessons and optional streaks.
- Local learning progress and encrypted backups in Settings.
- Optional AI feedback with your own provider or local model.
Install
- Download Fritz-macOS-arm64.zip for Apple Silicon or Fritz-macOS-x64.zip for Intel.
- Unzip the download and move Fritz.app to Applications.
- Open Fritz. The runtime is included; no Node.js installation or login setup is needed.
The app is not notarized. If macOS blocks the first launch, use System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway.
Progress stays on each device. Use encrypted backups in Settings to save it or move it to another device.
Verification
- Both packages passed macOS build, WebKit and native app tests.
- The release source passed the full quality and container checks.
- SHA-256 checksum files are included for both ZIPs.
