Aeris is a native, offline viewer for phone authenticator exports. Your phone remains the source of truth.
Windows and Mac packages have no publisher signature; the Mac app is not notarized. Apple silicon and ARM builds are not available.
Installation help
- Windows: run the installer, or extract the portable ZIP and open
bin/aeris.exe. - Intel Mac: open the DMG and drag Aeris to Applications.
- Linux AppImage: make the download executable, then launch it:
chmod +x aeris_linux_amd64.AppImage
./aeris_linux_amd64.AppImageWithout FUSE, use APPIMAGE_EXTRACT_AND_RUN=1 ./aeris_linux_amd64.AppImage. A working system keyring is required; your desktop supplies the keyring daemon.
- Artix: install the package with:
sudo pacman -U ./aeris-0.1.0-2-x86_64.pkg.tar.zstPacman fetches runtime dependencies from the standard Artix repositories. Use an up-to-date Artix x86-64 system. The native package has not been verified on other distributions. Existing KWallet users can keep using KWallet.
Every import replaces the whole Aeris collection after review. Source exports remain untouched. Use Delete all… before uninstalling if you want to remove saved accounts and credentials.
Features
- Imports from Aegis, Google Authenticator, Raivo, 2FAS, Ente, Bitwarden Authenticator, Proton Authenticator, andOTP and OTP-link text.
- Offline service logos, nine themes, List/Compact/Cards layouts, persistent drag-and-drop account order, and ownership-aware clipboard clearing.
- Encrypted local account storage protected by the system keyring.
Source, checksums, and build details
- SHA-256 checksums
- Original Linux/Artix source archive
- Windows and Intel Mac source archive · Native source manifest
- Intel Mac app archive (alternative to the DMG)
- Build records and reports (ZIP) — SPDX SBOMs, local build provenance, verification report, native test results, source manifests, benchmark results, and the Artix recipe. The archive includes the checksums for its contents.
Windows was tested on Windows 11 with native tests, real credential/vault checks, portable and installed launches, and uninstall checks. Intel macOS was tested on macOS 15.8.1 with native tests, real Keychain/vault checks, bundle audits and launch from the mounted DMG. The Mac app has an ad-hoc signature. Linux AppImage packages were built locally on Ubuntu 24.04 with bundled Qt X11 and Wayland integrations; Artix packages use standard Artix repository libraries.
There is no GitHub build attestation. GitHub Actions remained disabled throughout build and publication.
The original Linux/Artix assets and v0.1.0 tag are preserved. The Windows and Intel Mac additions use a dirty checkout based on fd5263eb23c54528a27da083a3a7fafc267c565e, including the Mac Enter-to-copy correction and local packaging changes. Their separate native source archive captures the checkout after acceptance, including later release documentation. Its manifest distinguishes it from the transient build snapshots identified in provenance.
Application code is MIT licensed. Bundled service artwork and the demo soundtrack retain their separate licenses; see the source archive's third-party notices.
