First Comments 1.2.0

First Comments brings Oldest first to YouTube's comment sort menu, with the first 10 or 100 available top-level comments shown as native YouTube comment cards.

Includes expandable replies, light/dark themes, stop/retry, temporary per-tab results, and local JSON export.

• Chrome ZIP: extract and load the folder through chrome://extensions → Developer mode → Load unpacked.
• Firefox ZIP: unsigned development package. Extract and load manifest.json through about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox → Load Temporary Add-on. Removed on browser restart.
• Source ZIP: source, build tools, documentation, and tests.
• SHA256SUMS.txt: package checksums.

The Chrome and Firefox ZIPs contain the same runtime as the 1.2.0 store submission. Firefox Add-ons submission is awaiting review; these ZIPs do not imply store approval or Mozilla signing. Firefox store page may be unavailable until publication.

Desktop YouTube video pages only. Firefox 142+. Shorts are unsupported. The implementation depends on experimental internal YouTube formats. Deleted or unavailable comments cannot be recovered; signed-in liking and posting remain unverified.
