🔄 Spotify API Migration (February 2026)

Breaking API Changes Addressed

• Playlist Items Endpoint: Updated from deprecated /playlists/{id}/tracks to new /playlists/{id}/items endpoint
• Response Field Normalization: Added backward-compatible mapping for renamed fields (item → track) to maintain frontend compatibility

Technical Details

The Spotify Web API received major changes in February 2026. This update ensures continued functionality:

🐛 Bug Fixes

OAuth & Authentication

• Token Reset Fix: Token reset now works via direct IPC instead of server API, fixing "Failed to fetch" errors when server is not running
• Callback URL Consistency: Updated setup instructions to use http://127.0.0.1:3000/callback consistently (was showing localhost in docs but server used 127.0.0.1)
