Disk Space Analyzer

Browse any folder and see all files larger than 1 MB, sorted by size (largest first).

How It Works

• Select a folder via the Scan button or let it default to your home directory
• The scanner walks the directory tree, collecting file sizes
• .app bundles are treated as single items (their total size is calculated)
• Results appear in a scrollable list as soon as scan completes

Filtering

Use the category filter bar to narrow results:

Category	Description
All	Everything
Videos	.mp4, .mov, .mkv, etc.
Audio	.mp3, .wav, .flac, etc.
Photos	.jpg, .png, .heic, etc.
Apps	.app bundles
Documents	.pdf, .docx, .txt, etc.
Archives	.zip, .dmg, .tar, etc.

Actions

• Reveal in Finder — opens the file location
• Move to Trash — confirmation dialog, then file is trashed

Apple Intelligence

If enabled in Settings, each item shows a sparkle icon. Click it for an AI-generated explanation of what the file is and whether it is safe to delete.
