I recently bought a bunch of MINIR4 switches almost purely for the "detached relay" mode.
I wish to use the external switch to toggle some other devices in my smart home, without triggering the relay in the MINIR4 (and therefore cutting power to the devices - for example, smart light bulbs).
I have added one MINIR4 to the eWeLink app and enabled 'detached relay' mode, restarted HA and saw the device appears. I get 2 entities.. one toggles the RELAY and the other toggles the DETACHED RELAY MODE setting. What I really need, is for the EXTERNAL SWITCH to be exposed to HA.
I have tested the functionality within the eWeLink app, and can create a 'Scene' that is triggered when the EXTERNAL SWITCH is toggled, without triggering the RELAY... If this functionality could be made available in HA, it would be a game changer.
One of the BIG issues a lot of people have with 'smart light bulbs' is other family members turning off the power to them via the light switch, making the lights 'unavailable' etc. Detached relay mode solves this.
Is it possible to expose the EXTERNAL SWITCH to HA? Can I help in any way?
