UI Protect RTSP not available

UniFi Protect RTSP streams won’t load in go2rtc, even though they work in VLC.
Protect is exposing non‑standard RTSP endpoints on port 7447 that VLC can play but go2rtc cannot negotiate. The official RTSP URLs shown in Protect’s UI on 7441 are not real RTSP streams and fail in VLC. Disabling “Secure RTSPS Output” removes the URL entirely. No valid RTSP URLs appear under Camera → Manage → Video, so go2rtc never receives a true RTSP source and stays stuck on “loading.”

What I have tried:
• Tested all Protect‑generated RTSP/RTSPS URLs
• Tested ports 7441 and 7447
• Added , forced h264, tried rtsps://
• Disabled RTSPS, toggled resolutions
• Rebuilt go2rtc.yaml with all URL variants
• Verified network reachability
• Confirmed only the 7447 “shim” URLs work in VLC
• go2rtc still cannot play them

I am trying to get these to work as a "live fee" on my ipad that is mounted to the wall. Anyone else have any suggestions

I have (or at least I thought I followed each step). It's my understanding that Ubiquiti closed the loop on opening RTSP (unprotected links) with the latest update which is why I was unable to get them to work.
