Recollectium was created by Alfonso Dehesa.

Alfonso is a strong advocate for open source code, community-driven development, and user-owned AI infrastructure. Recollectium grew from a practical belief: useful agent memory should be portable, inspectable, and controlled by the person it serves, not locked inside one hosted chat product.

The project is built to invite contribution. If you care about local-first AI, durable memory, agent interoperability, or open tooling, Recollectium is meant to be a place where that work can grow.
