Is it possible to offset hints? #84
|
I wanted to know if there are any configuration options other then the ones provided on the configuration guide that will allow me to offset the hints more to the left/right? As of now, the hints cover the buttons, making it difficult to see what is under the hint. I have to look at what I would want to click first and where it's positioned first before triggering hints. Any help provided would be appreciated. |

i don't know about offset, but would suggest: playing with transparency settings, and making sure at-spi is installed/configured properly -- it generates fewer boxes than opencv -- which helps a lot |

Yes, there some options that I think are documented, but only in specific parts: What you want is this one for x offsets: Line 105 in e5739a5 And this for y offsets: Line 106 in e5739a5 But I think this might not be what you want as this offsets the whole overlay. But give it a try anyways. The reason the button is covered now is because I chose to intentionally center hints here: Line 146 in e5739a5 and here: Line 147 in e5739a5 It would not be very hard to add a new config option to disable centering hints. Adding a condition to skip centering hints there would align hints to the top left of objects. For reference, here are all of the config options available: Line 15 in e5739a5 |
