Install

• Homebrew: brew install --cask ali-fayed/transflo/transflo
• DMG: download Transflo-1.0.0-arm64.dmg below, open it and drag Transflo to Applications.

What's inside

• ⇧ Convert: 290 conversion paths across images, icons, audio, video, documents, PDF, slides, spreadsheets, subtitles and archives.
• ⌘ Tools: 31 tools, from compress, crop and annotate to trim, bleep, merge, page editing, metadata, batch rename, text extraction, upscaling and Smart Rename, plus your own Recipes.
• ⌃ Actions: AirDrop, Archive to ZIP, Copy, Move, Copy Path and Terminal.
• Keyboard: ⌥⌘Return on a Finder selection, plus Open in Transflo in the right-click menu.
• Settings: General (language, appearance, accent, keys, haptics, tick sound, preset compression and output naming), Wheel (size and what each wheel shows), Recipes (chained steps and watch folders), Compatibility (every conversion at a glance) and About (version and updates).
• Editors: focused editors for crop, rotate, adjust, annotate, redact, add or remove a background, collage, compress, trim, speed, split, merge, PDF pages, metadata and rename, with live previews and playback for audio and video.
• Output defaults: Best, Balanced or Smaller compression and output filename styles.
• Getting Started: a five-page tour with the current grouped wheel and selection style, replayable from the menu bar.

• Everything else: a History window with Undo, English and Arabic, light and dark, and VoiceOver support.

The iPhone and iPad app is coming to the App Store. Requires macOS 14 or later on Apple silicon. File processing runs on your Mac. AirDrop shares files on request. The update check asks GitHub for the latest version number once a day and when you choose Check for Updates; nothing about you or your files is sent.
