📐 Hydraulic Equations
Darcy-Weisbach Equation
h_f = f × (L/D) × (v²/2g)
Where:
- h_f = head loss (m)
- f = Darcy friction factor
- L = pipe length (m)
- D = pipe diameter (m)
- v = flow velocity (m/s)
- g = gravitational acceleration (9.80665 m/s²)
Reynolds Number
Re = (v × D) / ν
Where:
- v = velocity (m/s)
- D = diameter (m)
- ν = kinematic viscosity (m²/s)
Friction Factor
Laminar (Re < 2300):
f = 64 / Re
Turbulent (Re ≥ 2300):
f = 0.25 / [log₁₀(ε/3.7D + 5.74/Re^0.9)]²
🧪 Testing
- 30+ Unit Tests - Comprehensive coverage of all calculation functions
- Calculation Accuracy Tests - Validates Reynolds, friction factor, velocity, and head loss
- Error Handling Tests - Validates input validation and error cases
- All Tests Passing - 100% test pass rate
