• Preview device matching by stable camera id (no more black feed on multi-node cameras)
• Camera device properly released on stop/switch (Loader destroy)

• Installer reports real failure states with Retry instead of fake success

Notes

• Arch-based distributions only; Debian support was prototyped and cut back out (see history if it returns).
• Howdy itself + pam-python (AUR) still required — the wizard installs both.
• Password always works as fallback. It always will.
