@AligmentInsight AligmentInsight released this 21 Oct 22:41

Aligment Insight is a programming language where every value is an AI agent —
schemas, wages, budgets, gates and journals for organizations of agents.
This is the first public release: one file, one dependency, runs offline.

A measure can now walk into a list of records, which is what real documents
are made of: invoices with lines, orders with items, reports with findings.
Grammar unchanged.

Added

  • sum(lines.price), avg, min, max and len accept a path that
    crosses a list of records: the tail is mapped over the items and the
    numbers are aggregated. Works in gate criteria, if and where clauses.

Fixed

  • Such a path was rejected statically (AIL037: Invoice has no field "lines.price"); the schema walker now descends into [Line] and reports
    a typo at the leaf (lines.prices still fails, as it should).
  • Two helpers (_named_criterion, _gate_label) had been lost during an
    earlier refactor and were restored; every gate label and AIL037 message
    uses them again.

Changed

  • Selftest grew from 228 to 231 checks (a mapped sum in a gate, a mapped
    typo, a mapped invariant).
