CSV Doctor v1.0.0 provides offline Windows diagnostics for CSV, TSV and delimited TXT files, with delimiter and encoding detection, structural diagnostics and Excel-related risk warnings. Review source and before/after previews, choose repairs explicitly, and export a new copy with a JSON repair report. Original files are not modified.

  • Supports comma, semicolon, tab and pipe; exports UTF-8 or UTF-8 BOM with CRLF or LF.
  • Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime is required separately and is not installed automatically.
  • Documented input limits: 16 MiB, 100,000 records and 256 columns.
  • CSV files cannot prevent Excel itself from later reinterpreting values. Formula-risk protection is optional and changes cell text.
  • Windows binaries are not Authenticode signed; Windows may show a reputation warning. Download from the official release and optionally compare SHA-256. Do not disable Windows security.

The portable ZIP and SHA256SUMS.txt are attached below. Extract the entire ZIP and run CSVDoctor.exe.
