I started developing this project out of a simple frustration: I absolutely hate the ads that interrupt my listening experience on Spotify. Furthermore, I didn't want to waste money on premium subscriptions when I knew I possessed the skills to build a music player for myself.
So, I took matters into my own hands and created Songify—a project born out of the desire for an uninterrupted, cost-free music experience, built by me, for me.
