[Feature] Option to hide the parent folder

Some people like me are organizing their roms into subfolders, like:

D:
- Roms
-- SNES
--- Super Mario World
---- Super Mario World.sfc

If you are configuring ES use D:\Roms\SNES as rompath, you will get "Super Mario World" as result inside ES. But now I have to go inside this folder to open my rom. That's a very annoying click.

Would it be possible to add an option inside the settings menu to hide the parent folder "Super Mario World" from the ES list view, so that it directly shows the, in this case, .sfc file?

For now I found a workaround, but I don't like it. I renamed the folder "Super Mario World" to "Super Mario World.sfc" like if you want to use Higan. Now ES recognized the foldername as game, but it couldn't find the rom anymore. So I had to change the starting path to retroarch.exe "%ROM_RAW%\%BASENAME%.sfc". It works if you just have 1 file extension, but sometimes you have more than 1.

The mentioned folder structure only makes sense if you have more than one ROM for a game (for instance hacks, mods, etc.). If you have only one ROM inside a folder, it would make no sense!

Rather than requesting a change in folder handling inside ES for this case (where ONLY ONE ROM is inside a folder), you should reconsider your folder structure.

The ability to have folders you can actually enter is a great thing, you can for instance group games by genre or by any other criteria and stack them in folders.

In a possible solution ES could check the filename inside the "Super Mario World" folder for instance, and if the filename equals the folder name, ES could display the ROM instead of the folder. This of course only would work if there is only one ROM in the folder.

Well, for me it makes sense to have one folder per ROM. So I can have all ROM related data like savegames, language patches and so on in one place. Of course, I could group them but that's something which doesn't make sense to me. This is something the frontend based on the metadata should do.

I only can estimate what could be possible. In last instance @Aloshi has to decide if my suggestion above is practical. In my opinion ES's behavior at the moment is absolutely logical as it displays a folder when there's one. Everything else is a enhancement / work around which has to be coded into ES.

No doubt, the current behaviour is logical. But it's the one click which could be saved, if it checks if there is just ROM inside and starts it directly. It just would be a little bit userfriendlier. So let's wait for @Aloshi.
