Gemini Bridge 0.9.99 — Public Beta

Welcome to the first public beta prepared for external testers.

Gemini Bridge is a Windows desktop assistant that connects Codex with Gemini, allowing substantial analysis and project work to be delegated while Codex remains focused on supervision, verification, testing, and final integration.

What is included

  • automatic, manual, project-oriented, expert, and hybrid AI strategies;
  • optional Codex plugin integration;
  • Gemini Live, Gemini REST, local Whisper + Piper, and Windows system speech;
  • push-to-talk, continuous conversation, and hands-free voice modes;
  • compact Mini Panel integrated with the Windows desktop;
  • remembered left/right panel placement, auto-hide, colour, and transparency controls;
  • a guided first-run configuration wizard;
  • English, German, French, Polish, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Italian interfaces;
  • project-scoped access controls, recovery safeguards, and explicit user-approved problem reporting.

Latest installer refresh

The refreshed 0.9.99 installer improves the Gemini Bridge Codex plugin in two areas:

  • stale project memory now produces precise refresh guidance instead of being described as missing;
  • schema-bound, prompt-only deterministic work can run without creating project memory, while remaining stateless, tool-free, read-only, workspace-confined, and unavailable to conversation continuations or hybrid workflows.

Project-aware delegation continues to require an accepted project identity and current verified memory when persistent memory is enabled.

Important beta notice

The installer is not yet signed with a commercial Authenticode certificate. Windows SmartScreen may display an Unknown publisher warning. Verify the SHA-256 checksum above before running the installer.

This is beta software. Please avoid using it as the only copy of critical work and review access permissions before allowing project changes.
