AlterLab Academic Skills v3.0.1

This release includes 242 academic skills.

What's new in 3.0.1

A patch release so installed plugins pick up a routing fix: Claude Code refreshes a plugin only when its version changes, so the fix merged after v3.0.0 reached no existing install.

Fixed

  • alterlab-skill-finder 1.2.0 — tested against the published v3.0.0 plugin with headless Claude Code: "use AlterLab skills" and alterflow routed correctly, but when the best-fit skill's plugin was not installed (for example alterlab-kvkk-dmp with only alterlab-essentials), the router called it, got Unknown skill, and searched for tools until it ran out of turns. It now checks the skill is installed and otherwise names the plugin with its install command (/plugin install alterlab-<domain>@alterlab-academic-skills, then /reload-plugins) or the release zip for the Claude app, and offers an installed stopgap.
  • The router's domain map named three skills that do not exist (alterlab-grant-writer, alterlab-sec-edgar, alterlab-irb-consent); it now names alterlab-research-grants, alterlab-edgartools, and alterlab-research-ethics, and lists the skills added in v3.0.0. tests/test_skill_name_refs.py fails on any backticked alterlab-* name in a SKILL.md that is not a real skill or plugin.

Upgrading

claude plugin marketplace update alterlab-academic-skills, then claude plugin update alterlab-core@alterlab-academic-skills (or re-upload skill-alterlab-skill-finder-3.0.1.zip in the Claude app).
