Snake Game

Overview

Snake Game is the common name for a video game concept where the player maneuvers a line which grows in length, with the line itself being a primary obstacle. The concept originated in the 1976 arcade game Blockade, and the ease of implementing Snake has led to hundreds of versions (some of which have the word snake or worm in the title) for many platforms. After a variant was preloaded on Nokia mobile phones in 1998, there was a resurgence of interest in the snake concept as it found a larger audience. There are over 300 Snake-like games for iOS alone.

Gameplay

The player controls a dot, square, or object on a bordered plane. As it moves forward, it leaves a trail behind, resembling a moving snake. In some games, the end of the trail is in a fixed position, so the snake continually gets longer as it moves. In another common scheme, the snake has a specific length, so there is a moving tail a fixed number of units away from the head. The player loses when the snake runs into the screen border, a trail or other obstacle, or itself.

Issue found in SnakeGame

1. No goal for the snake to do

The snake game only appears snake and there are no foods or any things that can let the snake eat and do. The snake game could add food class or some goal that can let the snake do.

2. Infinity loop of the snake

The program will never end even the snake reaches the end of the screen. Most of the snake games will be terminated after the snake reaches the end of the screen so the program may have a break command to make the program end.

3. The program stops when left-clicking the screen

The snake stops when the user left-clicks the screen and it waits for the user to press anything such as press left, right, up, down and esc button then only can resume the program. The snake game does not require users to input anything as it just a snake eat food and achieve the goal then end the program.

4. Does not have a point or position recording

The entire program is just one point move in 1 direction and keep repeating the process. The program should have some info about what position the point currently at. Other than that, the program did not record the score/point, which is one of the main aspect of classic snake game.
