ZUI 2.0.0

Major release:

  • Full rewrite of the old Z2 GUI into ZUI based on Tauri, Rust and SvelteKit.
  • Built-in tg-ws engine integration.
  • Preset manager with bundled presets, custom folders, favorites and hidden presets.
  • Preset testing, diagnostics, logs, themes, Russian localization and update checks.
  • Installed builds can download installer updates from GitHub Releases.
  • Portable builds check updates and open the release page for manual download.

Migration:

  • The old Python project is preserved in the legacy-python branch.
  • The repository is renamed to zapret-universal-interface.

Important:

  • ZUI is not a VPN.
  • Administrator rights are required for zapret/winws operations.
  • Verify SHA256SUMS.txt before running downloaded artifacts.
