What's new
Contact Form 7 support
- Add
[cap_captcha]to any form, or use the new Cap CAPTCHA button in the form editor. - Errors appear inline next to the widget, like any other field error.
- The widget resets itself after each AJAX submission, ready for the next message.
Gravity Forms support
- New Cap CAPTCHA field under Advanced Fields in the form editor.
- Label, description and error message can be customised like any other field.
- Checked on final submission only, never on Next, Previous or Save and Continue. On multi-page forms, place it on the last page.
Improvements
- The CAPTCHA is only checked once every other field is valid, so visitors who make a typo don't have to solve it again.
- The settings page now groups forms by plugin and shows which plugins are active.
- Each integration is now a separate module that only loads when its plugin is active. Developers can add their own with the new
cap_captcha_integrationsfilter.
Contact Form 7 and Gravity Forms are switched on per form: only forms that contain the Cap tag or field are checked.
