On this page, you will find information about the global architecture of the server.
The following image is the global architecture for the server.
The server is split into 4 sides:
- Routes identified as API
- Network Database
- Area Core
- Generic Area Architecture
You can find information about specific parts on theses following sections.
The server has 2 goals, the first one is to manage calls done on the API, and to do the AREAs (action/reaction).
That's why we split the server into 2 parts.
API side will manage the call made on our API and routes.
AREA Core will manage the AREAs (action/reaction) side.
Our database is a mongodb database hosted on Atlas.
Since our database isn't hosted locally we need an interaction side, that's why the database isn't included in the server.
