This is an unsupported preview build of the main branch of AWS IDE Extensions for VSCode.

Install

  1. Download the vsix file(s) from "Assets" below.
    • Amazon Q 2.8.0 is provided by amazon-q-vscode….vsix
  2. Run Extensions: Install from VSIX... from the VSCode command palette and choose the vsix file(s).

  • Bug Fix Amazon Q: In browser-only VS Code (vscode.dev, github.dev), a clear message now guides you to desktop VS Code or a remote environment where Amazon Q is fully supported.
  • Bug Fix Inline chat: Accept/Reject code lenses no longer appear in other files when switching editors before accepting or rejecting a suggestion
