SDK Update Guide 1.x
- Generated SDK binary filenames change on each map update. So do not use the filenames in this guide to find your own SDK files.
- Create a backup of your own files before following this guide.
Download an archive from the release page and unzip. Notice two folders, one named Build and the other named TemplateData The Build folder contains generated SDK binaries and the TemplateData contains loading screen resources and the Ambiarc JS side implementation.
Locate the generated SDK binaries in the project you are updating. They should look similar to the following and are usually located in a single folder on their own:
![]()
The filenames are generated so they will be named differently but will have a similar format. Remove these binaries and replace them with the binaries from the Build folder from Step 1.
If you have not modified your loading screen, you can replace your local TemplateData with the one from Step 1. If you modified your loading screen, you will need to locate the ambiarc.js file within TemplateData and replace your local ambiarc.js file.
Locate your embedded map file. In Ambiarc projects this is usually called map.html. In the file you will notice two references the generated SDK binaries. One being a JS file and the other being a JSON file.
![]()
![]()
Replace the JSON file reference with a reference to your updated JSON reference and do the same for the JS file.
