  • Added: Warning for scam tokens that pretend to be cash #2754
    • Tokens with money-like symbols such as $, €500, $ Claim at x.com or USD are now flagged as suspicious, so a fake incoming "payment" no longer looks like real money.
    • Normal tickers that start with $ (e.g. $PEPE) are not flagged, and known tokens on their own chain stay trusted.

    • USD values shown for a quote now come from the swap provider, so they are fresher and more accurate.
    • Routes are still ranked with a single shared price, and the network fee is subtracted, so a provider can't reach the top spot by quoting a higher USD value.
  • 📣 Changed: More accurate gas estimation for regular (EOA) accounts #2746
    • A simple native token send no longer gets extra gas on top of the network's own estimate.
    • For EIP-7702 accounts, a single-call transaction is now estimated against the actual recipient, which gives a lower gas limit.
    • The safety margin added on top of estimates goes down from 20% to 12%.
  • Changed: xWALLET conversion text now uses the $xWALLET and $WALLET tickers #2728
  • Fixed: Account names and profile pictures not migrating for users updating from very old versions (older than v4.25.0) #2739
    • This also fixes a crash in the address book, and runs all later storage migrations that this bug had been skipping.
  • Fixed: Apps connected before they joined the Ambire app catalog staying marked as user-added instead of verified #2749
  • Fixed: Make sure stored data could not be corrupted or wiped when a storage migration ran late or after an interruption #2748
    • Migrations now convert only records that are still in the old format, and merge them with existing data instead of replacing it.
    • Includes fixes for networks, apps, custom tokens and token preferences, account preferences, seeds and custom networks.
