Notable changes since previous release:

  • Added runas property for run, cmd, and powerShell actions
    • Creators can use runas: currentUserElevated to launch a process as the active user with administrator permissions, allowing for compatibility with tools like winget
  • Added a highly customizable builds property to actions and tasks, allowing for fine control over what windows version(s) an action or task should be run on
  • Added option property to tasks, instead of only actions
  • Added playbook option to enable or disable the kernel driver
  • Added option to only unregister APPX components, and skip deletion of APPX files
  • Improved reliability for the following actions: file, service, taskKill, cmd
  • Fixed issue where AME Wizard could throw an error if the system color profile had been changed
  • Fixed issues with custom features
