New Features

  • Embedded MCP Server for AI agents (PR #250): Optional read-only MCP server (Streamable HTTP + legacy SSE) so agents such as Claude Code and Cursor can search your AI-enriched starred repositories without a separate CLI. Works with frontend+backend, Docker (nginx /mcp), and Electron standalone (loopback HTTP). Pure SPA (frontend-only) does not expose MCP. Settings → MCP Server: enable toggle, always-viewable token with reset, and one-click agent JSON config. gsm_vector_search is listed only when vector search is configured/enabled.

Fixes

  • Private IP for user-owned AI / WebDAV / RPC configs (PR #246, fixes #244): Proxy URL validation now allows loopback/private addresses for user-saved AI, WebDAV, and RPC download targets (e.g. local Ollama or LAN NAS), while still blocking cloud metadata (169.254.169.254) and URLs with embedded credentials. GitHub proxy remains strict. Also fixed IPv4-mapped IPv6 bypass and stabilized proxy unit tests.
  • WebDAV backup restores release subscriptions (PR #249): WebDAV backup/restore now includes release subscriptions (bell), release source settings (Watch / custom), and read-release markers so they are no longer lost after restore. Backup payload version bumped to 1.1; older 1.0 backups remain compatible.

Important notices

  • MCP is experimental. Please back up your data before upgrading.
  • MCP requires a client with a backend, or Electron desktop. It is not available in pure frontend-only (SPA) mode.
