Grok Remote 1.10.0: an audit release that fixes about 90 defects. Desktop 1.4.4 is unchanged.

Security: ?demo=1 no longer skips auth. Another website can no longer reach the agent socket, which is protected against DNS rebinding. The 401 page no longer shows the key. The pairing key that leaked into the test scripts has been purged from history and rotated. Re-pair your phone once.

Reliability:

• A timed-out request can no longer lock up the hub.
• A hung agent is checked before it is restarted, and slow new-chat or list requests no longer kill running turns.
• Chats no longer show "busy" forever after a restart.

No duplicate prompts: the client never resends on its own, and the hub refuses to forward the same prompt twice. New-chat requests are deduplicated the same way.

No mixed chats: chat IDs are matched exactly, and when a chat is opened its history replay only goes to the device that asked for it.

New chats, names and filters:

• The default folder no longer changes when you open a chat.
• New chats appear on every device right away.
• Titles and archive state are stored by the hub, so renames stick and all devices agree.
• Chats from every folder can be reached.

Linux: process handling works on Linux, the hub boots in about 0.2 s, and the systemd unit and Tauri shell are Linux-aware.

v1.5.0 — Math rendering, Braid layout, chat rename

Everything since v1.4.0, which was tagged but never published as a release.

Math rendering

LaTeX finally renders on the phone. Inline $...$, display $$...$$ and ```math fences are extracted before the markdown pass and typeset with KaTeX, which is vendored under web/vendor/katex/ (MIT, licence included) so there is no CDN dependency. Display math scrolls horizontally on narrow screens.

Braid layout

New web/braid-layout.css. The conversation filter pop is no longer clipped behind the session list, the rail shows the top 3 conversations with an expandable Older section, and status moved into an orbit cluster in the top-right.

Chat rename

Rename a conversation from the session row, by double-clicking the title, or from the Command deck. Persists through POST /api/session/rename into summary.json, with a local fallback.

Fixes

• Session rail keeps its highlight on the currently open chat
• Turn tokens so a stale prompt can no longer mark the session idle
• Cancel drops pending prompts and ignores stale turn_complete / queue_changed

Upgrading: restart the remote UI once so the new /static/... and rename routes register, then hard-refresh the phone.
