v0.2.1 — app icon + boot animation generator

What's in this release

  • AllyBootStudio.exe (71 MB) — single-file self-contained Windows build with the new icon embedded. Look for the angular eye + scar marks in Explorer / taskbar / Alt-Tab.

Highlights

  • Original predator-flavoured logo composed from primitives (angular eye + 3 scar slashes + sparse gear bezel + hex mesh). Inspired by ROG and ACSE without copying either trademark.
  • Two reproducible Python/Pillow scripts under scripts/ re-render the icon and a boot animation from scratch — clone the repo and run them locally to make your own.
  • FfmpegService now also finds ffmpeg.exe inside winget's package dir, fixing a Links-shim gap on freshly installed Gyan.FFmpeg.

Make your own boot animation

Clone the repo, install the prerequisites (Python 3.10+, pip install pillow numpy, winget install Gyan.FFmpeg), then:

python scripts/generate_boot_animation.py --text "YOUR TEXT" --status "READY" --subtitle "[ YOUR · LINE ]"
