What's Changed
This beta adds runtime BitTorrent endpoint controls, a configurable file deletion policy, and a cleaner preference workflow built around the bundled Aria2 Next 2.5.5 engine.
✨ New Features
- BitTorrent connection controls — Configure the listen port, external IP, and external port directly from the BitTorrent settings page
- Runtime listen-port updates — Apply supported BitTorrent endpoint changes without restarting the engine, with automatic conflict recovery and clear port-switch notifications
- File deletion policy — Choose whether downloaded files move to the system trash or are deleted permanently
🛠 Improvements
- Reorganized BitTorrent connection, peer discovery, DHT, and sharing settings by protocol ownership
- Added transactional preference saves with engine and configuration rollback on failure
- Moved UPnP remapping and peer blocklist reconciliation out of the blocking save path
- Updated all six bundled engine binaries to Aria2 Next 2.5.5
- Updated diagnostic-log guidance and macOS quarantine removal instructions
