What's Changed

This beta strengthens engine lifecycle reliability, updates every bundled desktop sidecar to Aria2 Next 2.6.8, and polishes the update experience.

🛠 Improvements

  • Aria2 Next 2.6.8 — Updated the bundled engine for macOS, Windows, and Linux across x64 and ARM64.
  • Native Windows engine cleanup — Replaced cmd.exe, netstat, findstr, tasklist, and taskkill with native Windows TCP and process APIs.
  • Engine-owned BitTorrent metadata — Removed obsolete app-side uploaded torrent metadata cleanup.
  • Smoother update actions — Added animated label and background transitions to the update dialog action button.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Windows shutdown stability — Prevented expected Windows session termination from triggering engine crash recovery or spawning new processes while the app is exiting, resolving the 0xC0000142 shutdown dialogs reported in #567.
