What's Changed

This beta upgrades all six desktop engine builds to Aria2 Next 2.7.0, improves HTTP download recovery, and makes default link-handler settings more reliable.

🛠 Improvements

  • Updated the bundled engine to Aria2 Next 2.7.0 on macOS, Windows, and Linux, for both ARM64 and x64.
  • Added clearer link-association feedback across all 27 languages and refreshed association status when returning to the app.
  • Consolidated preference validation and removed unused code, dependencies, assets, and redundant tests.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed HTTP fallback when servers ignore Range requests: new downloads can restart once as a full transfer, while existing partial files remain protected unless overwriting is allowed.
  • Strengthened remote-file validation during parallel downloads and resuming to prevent mixing different file versions.
  • Fixed misleading link-handler results by verifying the actual system association and treating macOS confirmation cancellation as a normal dismissal.
  • Prevented overlapping link-association changes and repaired invalid stored string and boolean preferences.
