What's Changed
This beta adds browser-to-desktop activation without opening an intermediate tab, introduces a clear BitTorrent file-selection policy for new tasks, and refreshes the bundled engine and build pipeline.
✨ New Features
- Native Messaging activation — Chrome, Edge, and Firefox can activate Motrix Next through a restricted one-shot native launcher while retaining the existing HTTP download flow.
- BitTorrent file selection — New magnet tasks can download all files, open the selector automatically, or wait for manual selection.
🛠 Improvements
- Updated bundled desktop engines to Aria2 Next 2.6.7 for all six supported build targets.
- Kept generated browser launchers separate from engine binaries and avoided unnecessary launcher rewrites during development.
- Added installation, repair, and uninstall handling for Native Messaging manifests across supported desktop platforms.
- Simplified obsolete tests and aligned CI and release checks with workspace-wide Rust validation.
