Android 16 support:

  • Target Android 16 (API 36). Required for continued Google Play updates
    from 2026-11-01, and keeps the app forward-compatible on Android 16
    devices.
  • No migration needed for enforced edge-to-edge or predictive back:
    window insets were already applied on every screen.
  • Verified 16 KB page-size compatible.

Internals (no user-visible change):

  • Pure state logic split into a separate :domain Gradle module, which is
    compiler-forbidden from importing Android types.
  • Single owner for persisted state (AppStateRepository) and a single
    dispatch point for side effects (StateSyncer).
  • BlockerService decomposed into BlockDecider, ForegroundAppDetector and
    pluggable Enforcer implementations.
  • 79 unit tests now cover the NFC unlock, schedule and blocking logic.
