The ancient Heroscribe used to have 32 pixel grids.
That led to symbols with a maximum of 29 pixel size.
The new heroscribe will not have pixels, as we work with svg only.
Internally, SVG are calculated with a "sort-of" pixel, an internal coordinate system that allows drawing.
Currently I define a square to have 100 of these svg-units.
A monster that does not exceed it's circular boundaries therefore should have 90 svg-units size; same goes for one-square furniture.
Traps and rooms have their squares times 100 svg units size. (=full size)
Multi-square-monsters and furniture add 100 svg units for every additional square, keeping just the 5 svg-units distance from the outer border of their space - so a two square sized monster has 190 svg units, a three square cupboard has 290 svg units.
Knowing that nearly every cool symbol somehow exceeds this limit in one direction, we will have to find a way to adjust the size and exact position of a symbol in the grid.
