v0.2.1

Choose a tag to compare

@Andiveli Andiveli released this 24 Aug 02:12

What’s new

  • Checks for newer stable releases in the background without blocking startup.
  • Shows a discreet update notice in the empty Andiveli welcome panel.
  • Adds explicit wp-tui update support for standalone installations.

Safety

Updates use SemVer and platform-aware asset selection, validate GitHub SHA-256 digests, safely validate archives, protect package-manager and symlink-managed installations, and replace files atomically.

Updates are never installed silently; users must run wp-tui update.

This establishes notifications for releases published after v0.2.1. v0.2.0 could not notify retroactively.
