Highlights

  • Simplifies the desktop controls to Lighting effect, Left, Right, Together, and Across.
  • Makes effect the displayed/default CLI off target while retaining earcups as a tested compatibility alias for existing scripts.
  • Adds install-first Arch onboarding, a verified compatibility summary, application and Omarchy panel screenshots, and clearer controller/plugin responsibility links.
  • Adds a privacy-conscious hardware report form to collect results from other original GameDAC owners without requesting unfiltered captures or serial numbers.

This remains an unofficial independent community release for the original GameDAC (1038:1280). It does not provide Sonar, proprietary audio processing, firmware updates, or support for newer SteelSeries hardware.
