This release is small, but it's been a long time coming. As my personal use of the bot shifts from Twitter to Bluesky, changes need to be made to ensure it still works beyond Twitter. Twitter support is no longer a priority, though I'd like to keep it working as long as possible.

  • Remove Cohost support. Long live eggbug.
  • Compress Bluesky images
  • Catch errors when posting. This means if you post to multiple platforms, one API failure won't kill the entire program.
  • Only write to the database if posting succeeds. This is necessary due to the previous change meaning an error to post doesn't kill the entire program.
