I'm really liking AnduinOS and I haven't had to log into Windows in days! There is one thing I don't like. There are windows, like terminal, nautilus, etc. that do not have any border on them. I've tried editing the gtk.css file at .config/gtk-3.0 but it doesn't affect those windows. I have been able to get a border on Firefox using the decoration selector in the gtk.css file. Is there any way to get border on these other windows? My gtk.css file: |

The application you mentioned uses GTK4. Therefore, the CSS settings should be placed in the file Window border cssAdditionally, I searched Google using the keywords: gtk4 border css window, and the AI provided the following CSS snippet for your reference. /* Apply standard borders to all client-side decorated GTK 4 windows */
window.csd {
border: 2px solid #6272a4;
border-radius: 12px;
}
/* Ensure solid window variations (without invisible margins) receive the same border */
window.solid-csd {
padding: 0px;
border: 2px solid #6272a4;
border-radius: 12px;
}
/* Remove or adapt borders when the window is maximized to prevent display artifacts */
window.maximized {
border: none;
border-radius: 0px;
}I also found the following reference URLs.
Another thing that comes to mind is GTK themes that have borders. DemoI have just created a sample based on the CSS above and uploaded it to GitHub for your reference. |
Sorry, I was just about to add this important note:
Remember to disable the GNOME Shell Extension: accent-gtk-theme@brgvos first,
because I discovered that it deletes
~/.config/gtk-4.0/gtk.css.The command to disable it is as follows:
