• Disable stock status bar toggle in Settings — hides KOReader's built-in status bar for a cleaner render pipeline and reduced e-ink flicker. All stock status bar features are available as Bookends tokens.

• Debounced repaints — multiple rapid state changes within a single frame now produce only one screen refresh
