Team Meeting 4/11

Members Present:

  • Brittany
  • Olivia
  • Angie

Meeting Breakdown:

  • Discussed tasks to be completed by team members and dates by which we liked to see them completed
  • Set goals for ourselves to keep us motivated to stay on schedule
  • Combined meeting with Design 6 project discussion to get the full picture of everything on our plates
  • Compared calendars to set aside times to work together
  • Discussed the code review lab and articles read to decide what methods to put into practice

Conclusions:

Tasks set to be completed:

  • Make topcoder db (tentatively by 4/15)
  • Get NodeJS up and running using this video (tentatively by 4/15)
  • Reading and writing from Topcoder database (dependent on db being set up, tentatively by 4/18)
  • Implement Slack API (dependent of NodeJS being up and running and reading from Topcoder, tentatively by 4/19)

Meeting Times set up:

  • 4/13: 11am - 2pm
  • 4/14: 1:30 - 4pm
  • 4/15: 4pm - 6pm

Code Review Lab and Articles:

  • Utilize branching before pushing code to master branch
  • Keep commits small to aide group mates in understanding progress
